Description
The cell cable connects your electrode to your potentiostat. Most instrument are supplied with a cell cable. It is possible to order an additional cell cable. On one end the cell cable has a specific instrument connector, such as a LEMO or TRIAD connector. A LEMO and TRIAD connector are easy to differentiate, since the TRIAD connector has a screw thread and the LEMO connector are self-latching push-pull.
The other end of the cell cable terminates in 2 mm banana plugs. If your PalmSens instrument has a BiPot plug, you will have an extra yellow 2 mm banana plugs: please select BiPot Capabilities: “Yes”. If your instrument can do 100 mA or more, you will have an extra black 2 mm banana plug for the sense lead.

If you select the correct instrument and the BiPot functionality and request a quote, you will receive a quote for the correct cable for your instrument. The selector will use the following logic:
- The EmStat4S LR, EmStat4X LR, EmStat4R LR, MultiEmStat4 LR, EmStat4M LR Development Kit, PalmSens4, MultiPalmSens4, EmStat Pico Development Kit and the Sensit Wearable Development Kit, need a cell cable with a 5-pins LEMO connector and terminates in 2 mm banana plugs: order code CBL-SNS-5L-4 without BiPot functionality and order code CBL-SNS-5L-5BP with BiPot functionality.
- The EmStat4S HR, EmStat4X HR, EmStat4R HR, EmStat4M HR Development Kit and MultiEmStat4 HR need a cell cable with a 5-pins LEMO connector and terminates in 2 mm banana plugs including Sense lead for use on the 200 mA range: order code CBL-SNS-5L-5S.
- The EmStat3+ (Blue) and MultiEmStat3+ potentiostat need a cell cable with a 4-pins LEMO connector and terminates in 2 mm banana plugs incl. Sense lead for use on the 100 mA range: order code CBL-SNS-4L-5S.
- The EmStat3 (Blue), MultiEmStat3 and PalmSens3 potentiostat need a cell cable with a 4-pins LEMO connector and terminates in 2 mm banana plugs: order code CBL-SNS-4L-4 without BiPot functionality and order code CLB-SNS-4L-5BP with BiPot functionality.
- The EmStat3 4WE needs two cell cables. One with a 3-pins and one with a 4-pins LEMO connector , both terminating in 2 mm banana plugs: order code CBL-SNS-3L-3 and CBL-SNS-4L-4.
- The EmStat1, EmStat2, PalmSens1 and PalmSens2 potentiostat need a cell cable with a 5-pins TRIAD connector and terminates in 2 mm banana plugs: order code CBL-SNS-5T-4 without BiPot functionality and order code CLB-SNS-5T-5BP with BiPot functionality.
